Education Requirement

Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate of five basic subjects and min 33% marks in each of those five subjects. For boards following grading system, grades commensurate to percentages, as Above, will be considered. Indian Gorkhas – Class 10th simple pass. # Upper Age limit will be relaxable upto 30 years of age (as on date of joining training) in respect of widows of Defence personnel who have died in harness.

Incentives Available for Various Categories. Bonus marks as follows will be awarded to eligible candidates :- Ser No Category Agniveer GD (Total Max Marks 200) 6.1. DOS/DOES/DOWW/DOW, Including Adopted Daughter (Adoption done during lifetime of a soldier) (two wards only). 20 Marks 6.2. Widows of Def pers who have died in harness 20 Marks 6.3. Sportswomen 6.3.1. Represented India at the International level. 20 Marks 6.3.2. Represented State at the Senior/Junior National level and have won any medal in individual event or have reached upto eighth position in Team event. 15 Marks 6.3.3. Represented College / University in Inter University Championship and have won any medal in individual event or have reached up to sixth position in the Team event. 10 Marks 6.3.4. Represented State at National Level in Khelo India Games and have won any medal in individual event or have reached upto sixth position in the team event. 10 Marks 6.3.5. Represented District at the State Level and have won any medal in individual event or have reached upto fourth position in the Team event. 05 Marks 6.3.6. Represented the State school team in the events org by All India School Games Federation and have won any medal in individual event or upto sixth posn in the Team event. 05 Marks 6.4. NCC ‘A’ Certificate 05 Marks 6.5. NCC ‘B’ Certificate 10 Marks 6.6. NCC ‘C’ Certificate 20 Marks 6.7. NCC ‘C’ Certificate and participated in Republic Day Parade 25 Marks
